I've been unwell all week, hence the missed post  Wednesday and delayed post today. My brain is a bit too sick addled to take on a project so I'm going to take this chance to share one of my favorite webtools.

An Example Pin
Pinterest is a bookmark tool that uses pictures and your own summary to create a visual virtual "pinboard". If you're a big visual person like I, then this will be perfect for you. It is by invitation only but I'd be happy to share invites so contact me if you need one.

"What is Pinterest?

Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.

Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started, request an invite." -From the website

You collect your pins into different boards which you can categorize and name however you like.
Each pin consists of a picture you choose from a site, your description or notes and the webaddress.

Here is an example of the board overview of some of my pinboards. You can click it to view all of my pinboards.

This example is my craft board where I keep pins of tutorials and ideas for crafts.

Clothing I want to buy or make.
Places I want to go.
One of the best parts though is repinning, you can search through pins by categories or follow other pinners and repin their pins for your own boards. It's never ending inspiration and eye candy, just be forewarned, it's addictive.
